Group Information (where you are based, number of members, normal group activities etc…): We are a small group of local residents, over the past few years we have developed a woodland area adjacent to Scott Avenue and the Loch Lomond cycle pathway. The garden are has been developed into a popular feature enjoyed by villagers and visitors alike. As well as a number of illustrated signs serving to highlight local heritage , we have als constructed a small viewing and seating area , thieve features have proved popular. The garden development s now an attractive village feature, our project has been featured by Sustrans on their web portal , the Grrenspaces bulletin has also promoted our garden area.
What will you use the money for?: Additional hard landscaping features Plants, shrubs, trees Weed control Fertiliser Small items of garden equipment
Who will benefit from this money?: The garden continues to increase in popularity , with the surge in walkers and cyclist on the Loch Lomond pathway , the garden seated area is a popular rest place , used by visitors and villagers alike. during the summer months we work hard to introduce as much garden colour as possible.
