Outcomes of screening process

Applications for Your Community : Your Choice were opened from November 2021 - February 2022. During this time, 13 ideas in total were submitted.

Each Idea was then subject to a screening process using the criteria outlined in the guidance, which is available here. Screening was done by Council officers and community volunteers to ensure that the process was fair and transparent.

Below is a list of Ideas that will not be going forward due to not meeting the criteria. If you have any further questions, please get in touch with us by emailing empowerment@west-dunbarton.gov.uk

Upgrade to “unofficial” path that runs alongside the North of the railway from Oronsay Place (G60) to Lusset Glen.

Improve and maintain walkways along Clydeside – fix faulty street lights and weed walkways.

WDC already has a system in place to report lighting and road faults.

Off road riding for horse owners along the disused railway line from Beardmore Street to the Carless site.
